Obertà Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
By using Obertà you accept these terms. The game is offered by Nicolai Tana (contact: [email protected]; certified email: [email protected]).
Account
- Online play requires an Apple, Google or Steam account, or an email address (you sign in with a code sent by email, no password), and a minimum age of 14.
- You are responsible for what happens with your account. Your username must not offend or impersonate others or staff.
- You can delete your account at any time: on your phone from Settings → Account → "Delete account"; from PC (Steam) by writing to [email protected]. Deletion is permanent: coins and cosmetics are lost.
Virtual coins and cosmetics
- Coins are an in-game virtual currency: they have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, withdrawn or transferred to others.
- They are used only for cosmetics (avatar looks), which give no gameplay advantage.
- Nothing in the game is sold for real money: coins are only earned by playing (games, levels and missions).
- We may change prices, items and shop offers.
Conduct rules
It is forbidden to:
- post hate, insults, harassment, threats, sexual or discriminatory content in chat or names;
- cheat, use exploits or third-party tools, or coordinate outside the game to rig matches;
- repeatedly abandon online matches;
- impersonate staff or other people;
- attack or overload the servers.
Reporting and blocking
You can report or block a player by tapping their face at the table or in the room, by long-pressing one of their messages, or from their public file. Once you block someone you no longer see their messages, and they can no longer send you friend requests or sit in rooms you open; you can unblock players in Settings → Privacy & data → "Blocked players". We read every report. For urgent matters, write to [email protected].
Sanctions
Breaking the rules can lead to chat filtering and muting, abandon penalties, suspension or closure of the account. In serious cases closure may happen without notice and without refunding coins, within the limits of the law.
The service
The game is provided "as is". We do our best to keep online play running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages or for other players' conduct. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
Privacy
How data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms; for important changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to play after an update means accepting them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence or domicile have jurisdiction.
